Dr. Nadia Mykytczuk Appointed Technical Advisor to Renforth’s Surimeau Battery Metals Project

• Dr. Mykytczuk’s expertise includes bio-mining/bioleaching and bioremediation of mine sites, relevant to Renforth’s large-scale, low-grade surface battery metals (Ni, Co, Zn, Cu, Ag, Au) occurrence over >20kms at the >300km2, 100% owned, Surimeau Property in Quebec’s near North.

• Dr. Mykytczuk is the President and CEO of MIRARCO Mining Innovation, the Executive Director of the Goodman School of Mines at Laurentian University, and an NOHFC Industrial Research Chair in Biomining and Bioremediation.

• Renforth will join the MIRARCO ecosystem through membership in its new Centre for Mine Waste Biotechnology. MIRARCO and the Centre are a research partner for the mining industry with a focus on innovative technologies and applied solutions for sustainable mining, this will aid Renforth’s R&D focus to prove that Surimeau is an Outokumpu style of mineralization amenable to bioleach processing. Dr. Mykytczuk will oversee this process from conception, through R&D to development and implementation of appropriate testing.
